TOPIC: 12W Purple Warrior Acolyte (Staff Form)

This being my Saberforge saber, I was very excited to open the box that delivered my two 12W Purple Warrior Acolytes. These sabers blew me away as soon as I put my eye on them! They are beautiful, with outstanding build quality and they feel phenomenal in the hand, both as a staff and on their own.

The layout of these sabers make them ideal for dueling, as the thin area below the emitter makes for a great choke point for flourishes both as single sabers and staff sabers!

The color of these sabers is great, so long as the saber is fully charged. When the saber isn't fully charged, the color starts to look too pink. But that is a minor issue. I would just use the quick connects that I ordered and swap them out for Green or Red LEDs. However, the quick connects were not made into my saber. I found this out the hard way. Currently, the quick connects used in most SF sabers are too large for the Acolyte. This is only a minor issue, and Phil assured me I can get the saber equipped with slimmer quick connects in March when they become available. The only other minor issue I have is that one of the 2 chargers I received arrived broken. This was only a minor issue as I got two chargers with my order, yet it is something I hope SF can try to prevent in the future.

If the sorcerer doesn't come out as I expect it too, I'm probably gonna take a Medium blue acolyte Staff! Affordable, beautiful and ergonomic!

Question for ya right quick on that. You said you had quick connects in it, but when I asked about getting quick connects in my Acolytes (I got almost exactly what you have, except mine are champions and red) I was told they cant put them into the Apprentice sabers. =/

He doesn't have quick connects in it, as the smaller quick connects for apprentice sabers won't be available til March

I have a quick question about quick connects do you guys know if you have them installed do they make the led less bright or a duller color or are they the exact same just your able to switch them out easier? Because i rather have a brighter saber than be able to switch colors.

I have a Acolyte/ purple coming tomorrow, I have heard bout it turning a little pink when charge on battery is low. But how low is it before you actually notice it??? Or can it just vary????

Purple is just one of them hit and miss colours in general because it's a not just a single colour, it's combination of red and blue dies, so the result can vary.
From what I've read on here though, it can turn pink-ish if the battery is low too but I'm guessing it would have to be fairly run down for that. I could be wrong

I'm thinking of getting the acolyte's and doing the same thing. Just wondering if I can get them in warrior editions from etsy? I don't see them in the shop as warrior's edition just champion.

They're sold out of warriors on etsy. I actually bought the second to last one. But yah. Warrior acolytes currently sold out on etsy until they add more.
