Hello Jedi and Sith,
I have designed an ASP saber with the Reliant body part (the one with leather). From watching the 3D model it looks like there is no Covertech knob or special place for a Covertech knob which I would like to have for hanging the saber on my belt. So my question is: Do I have to make drill a screw into it or does every saber Come with the option to add such a knob?

It will come with an attached covertech. They just don't display on the builder.

I figured that they would come with one but it would of been nice to be asked where we wanted it placed on the hilt.

The technology is already advanced, to ask for specialized covertech placement on top of what's already been given is a bit much to ask for right now........in the future...........?

If you preordered or kickstarter backed for a saber, you probably won't be able to request the covertech's placement. But once it goes live you may be able to. It might require going through the customs shop, though. Can't say for sure; the only time I've seen someone request a different position for their covertech was on an Ultrasabers hilt, and it didn't turn out quite how they wanted.

I'm part of the indiegogo campaign. However if there is no cover tech wheel I'll just drill and tap for one. No problem.
