Did a search and couldn't find this question answered, so thought I'd ask it:

Does the ASP Rebel emitter have it's own switch holes (the black circles on either side of the emitter in the "standard" finish), negating the need for a separate switch section, or are these purely aesthetic?

I can see in pictures the pre-designed Rebel saber (which is no longer available), there is a switch box in that body, which I assume is functional.

I ask this as the Rebel emitter is a fairly unique canon inspired piece and could be used to great effect with other pieces in a design, however when coupled with most bodies and then switch sections, pushes the overall length of a hilt well beyond 12-14 inches, and in some cases over 16, meaning that they couldn't effectively (and aesthetically would look awkward) be used one-handed.

Nah, those aren't holes, just circular indents.

That's what I figured, would be great if they were switch holes though....could open up a lot more single-hand designs for hilts.

The rebel saber itself is 13.5" long from tip of the emitter shroud to bottom of the pommel.
The two indents on either side are meant for graflex pins. The switch holes on the rebel are drilled into the body as it has no actual switch section. The control box is non-functional and purely there to complete the design.

My biggest beef w/the ASP Rebel is that it's incomplete. No switch, no body, no sale.
