Hey everyone,

This is a very speculative request, but I wanted everyone to post what they feel like is be a very popular ASP piece that would be some of the first to go or be "out of stock" with the upcoming release of ASP!

Not sure if this would be helpful to many, but I felt if people (myself included) would see some of their parts on the list, they either need to be prepared to order early or think of ways to switch parts (or just wait for a restock ;) )

Personally, I feel Pommel 10 would go quick, as I see it a lot on people's ASP designs (and it looks pretty gosh darn good with practically everything)

Maybe the Dissident Emitter?

Plus all of the Graflex parts in general lol

Which pieces do y'all think will be the fastest to go?

For the emitters, I would guess the clawed ones--Sorcerer, Venom, and Viper.

I don't really have any idea on switch sections. When I was coming up with my designs I picked the emitter and body first, then picked a switch section that helped them flow together.

For body sections, I would say body 10 for its knurled grip and the Venom for its grenade grip. The leather wraps are also popular, but several parts have them which will help spread out the number of buyers.

I'd guess the Relic for pommels, especially amongst those going for a Dark Side hilt.

Would an ASP version of a Champion saber available on the main site be the same price? This might be a silly question, but I thought I ask anyway.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that any part I would want to order is going to be sold out...

Switch 8 seems pretty popular though. And the Rebel emitter.

Rather guessing at which pieces will be first to run out of stock it may prove more advantageous with guessing how long said unavailable pieces would take to return to stock and be available. DIY-er's (and even those still waiting on pre-production Hilts) are aware first hand with items on backorder due to part shortages. The quickness of inventory recovery will make the biggest difference IMO.

I'll play.

Definitely some thin necks. I'm guessing the sorcerer body will be a big one.
I looked, and behold, an ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him.

OvrcAHst-

So these parts you posted you feel will take the the most time to restock because of part shortages? is it because the limitations of special parts needed to make them or just the difficulty in general of crafting them?

Without knowing the fabrication process or what is actually involved with inventory replenishing, the Parts I referenced are IMO the highly sought pieces when ASP Launches. With the Emitters: Vengeance, Mauler, Rebel, I gauged this from favoured Hilts that were/are formerly Etsy Limited but haven't made the transition to Main Site. In attempts to replicate the pre-production versions either in part or mirrored as close to in entirety, they would be used often. Graflex is seen as a piece that has claimed greater notoriety with TFA and is included with the former for this reason.

The Thin Necks I didn't list as there are essentially 6 variations available either with alternate grenade or none between the PS & Redeemer versions, similarly so with Katana Emitters. With Posts read in Wait Begins and personally paddling a boat that is the result of changes to either design, Thin Neck Parts or other unidentified shortages, experiencing the shortages (if similarities exist) can range anywhere from 2weeks+ (am 8Weeks in Pre-shipment since April 17 with a Jan 21 Order).

The Parts also feature intricate appearances adorned by greeblies and or 'more than typical cylindrical design'. This I feel will be subject to possible limitations and in addition to actually crafting them. With that said though, as you stated in your first Post, it's just speculation. :)

Hm. This makes me think I should re-prioritize my ASP hilts, and get my Graflex adaptation first.

No wonder my empty saber took so long, 3/4 of Survivor is on here.

3/4 less a golden pimple. Isn't the Gold stud absent except for a small recessed hole on the actual piece?

Since it's all speculation, I dare say that with forward thinking and the known overwhelming successes with ASP KS/IGG (regardless of still not knowing what quantities inventory will be stocked at) stock would be held in surplus anticipating a similar 'rush' as the Launch becomes Official.

A few months back (IIRC) there was a discussion over in another Thread about the possible integration and cross compatibility of pre-production Hilts accommodating ASP Parts (Business sense and inventory control). For example, one Member posed the query whether Reborn would remain consistent as a one-piece claw (x3) or follow ASP Build as a three-sectional claw. With Thin Necks, (again IIRC) the LED Module was formerly secured by C-Clip in upper part of grenade. Examples are now showing that, consistent to ASP, the LED Module is actually threaded to the actual thin neck.

With the intention to dramatically reduce Lead Times, whilst shortages can/will happen, maintaining sufficient stock on hand will play a key role. I firmly believe that foresight will prevail and the learning curve developed will have had this anomaly addressed effectively. Moving forward, it's actually more likely that there will be a surplus of Parts rather a deficit. So Build away and be ready to place your Order. ;)

Yeah, most of the pictures of the Rebel emitter have been without the stud on it...which is actually where the LED set screw is on mine.

My sabers which are amongst the last of the KS orders to ship only contain 2 of these parts. Vengeance emitter and pommel 7.

I have also seen a lot of Gladius switches which i also used.

Ill never know why my order was not done until yesterday though could have been anything.

The timing shims. They'll go like hot cakes. We've already seen how scarce they can become and ASP hasn't even launched yet.
