I got my 700 tier from Kickstarter, everything is perfect!

I want share my way to alignment the saber
this photo show the original alignment and the alignment I want it to be.

I almost use all the shim ring to make one alignment, and the color is looks yellow with metal ring

I went to Home depot to get some o-ring #217(thin),#218(thick), and pipe tape.
this give me a easy way to adjust, it hold up pretty well and the color match to the saber, also get extra protection for holding saber. you can add small drop of loctite(blue242) for extra binding
(this alignment method might only use for light duty play if use for heavy dueling this might the best choice)

some question
1.
there is an engineering flaw, the black grab bar alignment to the belt knob, it can't not use the belt clip! I can only get some D ring to fix this.

2. I try to charge battery(battery in correct direction), the charger just keeping flash in red for more than 10 hrs, not sure is charging or something wrong! 2 of charger are the same

  • Attatchment is forbidden. Possesion is forbidden. Compassion, which I would define as unconditional love, essential to a jedi's life. So you might say, that, we are encouraged to love.

I ended up adding a O ring to augment my timing as well. It seems to work pretty well and seems very tight. It's actually somewhat difficult to unthread because I tightened it to the point to where it's slightly dug into the plastic/rubber so I'm not worried about it holding up in battles, but I haven't battled with it yet. I have swung it around quite a bit on my own, but no actual high impact.

how many timing shims does Saberforge give you? only 2? that`s damn little in that case.. My first ASP saber is underway, depending how well it work out aligning the various parts it might be my first and last ASP saber. Hopefully it all works out for you and me.

Sometimes initial battery charge does take a crazy long time. Keep letting it charge, it shouldn't be an issue

I didn't get any alignment shims with mine...I told them that when I'd e-mailed them about the stand and the posters missing from my KS order.
