Can i remove the tsuba on a ASP katana emitter, without having lose/rateling parts? i love the hilt but hate the tsuba design.

Would it be possible to remove it without any modifications?

*Katana... The Ka'tano is a different saber all together.

Now, to the question at hand. I think Daniel Lane may have created one through the custom shop without a tsuba but it was a custom thing. The tsuba itself has a key-way designed into it which is the little slot you see when looking at only the designs of the unmounted tsuba. They are adhered in place and then the 'habaki' is also adhered in place over top. With the tsuba removed I imagine you'd possibly have a gap in between with the exposed key way.

UNLESS... They're able to build you one out of two lower body pieces and then just install the habaki emitter?
You'd have to email them and ask. There are no real employees here to answer questions like this. Its a fan run forum and we can only make assumptions.

Good luck

Thank you! was hoping it was a matter of unscrewing the top section, taking out the tsuba disk, and screw back the top emitter section :P, there would be a open space between the 2 emitter parts then yes but i would not have mind that.

But it does not seem to be that straight forward so i think i have to pass on it in that case :D
