how do i install an LED inside the redeemer thin neck ASP saber? if i buy an LED, what exactly do i have to do to place it and get it to work?

I haven't done it, but my understanding is that the thin neck and LED holder are threaded. First you screw the neck into the adapter and then you screw LED holder onto the bottom of the neck that is protruding into the adapter.

yea but the LED doesn't seem have threads on it? how would i obtain that threaded LED?? they dont seem to sell it on their ASP site?

Yes they do:

If you just want the heatsink, you can buy the one from the DIY action and request the threaded ASP version.

When I ordered an extra LED from the main site previously it had the black heat sink around it. All of the LED's i've ordered through the ASP site (3) and the one I received with my original pledge saber have come with the smaller silver colored heatsink that has threading.

I didn't even notice they came that way until reading about it here on the forums. Sure enough, I took an LED and screwed it directly onto the bottom of my redeemer emitter (before placing the thin neck adapter on it)
