Last word was that this would be part of the first ASP expansion pack. However, the timing of that release has not yet been announced. As soon as I know, and I am cleared to say, I guarantee I will shout it from the rooftops in this forum.

I refrain from using that term these days for a couple of reasons.
1) I have learned since that notorious event, that until I have more specific timing on things, I don't want to drive up enthusiasm for something that might not happen before that enthusiasm turns to cynacism. Rookie mistake, lesson learned. 2) I have learned that there are ALWAYS cool things coming! It is just a matter of what order they become a reality, so I refer to example 1 before dropping any hints about it unless it is something I know to be VERY close to dropping. I think it goes without saying that I know things that I would love to talk about as soon as I hear them, because I know how cool you folks will think it will be. Part of my learning curve as an Admin has been how to handle this, and my hope is that since the whole "Cool things coming" debacle, I have gotten better about it.

I can understand the standpoint, but on the other side of the coin, leaving people in the dark can create just as much cynacism if they think nothing is happening. Take the crystal chambers for instance. They were officially revealed in Feb, then not a single peep after that, now 9 months later. For fans waiting ever so patiently (or not so much) to order sabers when we finally know what the new reveal is, it makes the wait easier if we have even a clue of whats coming and/or when. JMHO.

I think it in this way too.
I Would love to Create my own Crystal saber with the ASP System , being so my sixth Saberforge Saber that i would own. Being in Germany its really hard to choose a good point for Ordering new Sabers since the taxes are high for importing. Knowing the Chamber would come would be perfect so that i could choose an Point in time where i could Order and wait the weeks till its done with me still being here in Germany and not in a Vacation. Since the tax office will keep it only for 1 week and then send it back if not picked up... |

Crystal Chambers are still on the way. They were unexpectedly delayed by weather related shut downs of the shop over the last few weeks. Typically, they get a little snow up Portand way every year. So far this year, it has been much more that usual for an entire year, and the season is just getting started. As a result, a few things that were scheduled to be done already were pushed back.
I know waiting is difficult when you are really anticipating something, but don't lose hope. If something were to force this release to be severely delayed, I would get an update on it, and pass it on to you. |

You need to hammer them over there to get on it, lol. It's safe to say they'll need a large stock of them so they don't sell out immediately. Maybe make a poll on the site to get an estimate of the exact interest numbers to see which parts will be the most popular.

Probably doesn't help 99% of you guys, but....
Rick (Darth Ryo) at Goth 3Designs, has an internal 1.11" crystal chamber chassis piece now. You'd have to mill some windows and or cut-aways but it would make for nice looking crystal chamber that already has feeds for wires. |
