Noob question here and I apologize upfront but thankful for your help. If I buy an Initiate Emerald Knight is that the same as buying the asp version. I can take apart the initiate the same I could the asp?

Yep. It's made with ASP parts so you could buy and Emerald Knight and other asp parts to swap and create a whole new saber.

Initiate hilts are probably like other pre-made sabers - pre-aligned and threadlocked. Initiate Emerald Knight probably won't come apart without some serious torque that'll mar the surface, or high-heat that'll discolor the anodizing.

CAN you take them apart? Yes.
Initiates DO have the glue on the threads, same as higher tiers. ASP is piece by piece, no glue. |
