I'm new around here, and I'd like a Yellow blade for my ASP saber.

If I go with a yellow day blade, should I get a yellow or white LED? If I do with an infinity blade, would the yellow LED be enough?

Any other suggestions would be welcome as well. Thanks, team!

I would go with a yellow Led, or at least the yellow they call yellow, it's not easy to get a true yellow, having to mix Leds can be tricky and a yellow day blade blade will work with it well.

From what I've read, the SF Yellow has a bit of a greenish tinge to it since it's made with green and amber LEDs. The yellow day blade will take that out for the most part, but it will be much dimmer than using a V4 blade. Amber could be an option if you're looking for a more golden yellow; it's 4x Amber LEDs, so you get a true color.

Or if you're interested in custom LEDs, a Red Orange / Lime Green or PC Amber / Lime Green using Luxeon Rebel LEDs make nice yellows from what I've seen; I'll be able to give a more personal review soon-ish (Jas-Ot may be able to tell you more even sooner, haha).

I had a yellow LED in my shoto. I wasn't very impressed with it. It wasn't very bright and did have the green tinge. I sent it back and had it replaced with amber. I got a couple of free yellow day blades from a previous sale and went that way. I have two (near) matching shoto sabers made into a staff. Go with what color you want, but I wasn't happy with their yellow.
No matter where you go, there you are.

I'd suggest going with a yellow LED and yellow day blade. I had an amber LED on my venomous fury and it was more golden orange in color and I wasn't a fan. I swapped it for indigo recently.

I have a yellow LED on a consulor I bought through the custom sabers FB group. The color is great but yes, there is a clear green tint to it. A yellow day blade should mask that.

If you decide to go RGBA (infinity), you might be able to get a nice rich yellow by adjusting the red, green, and amber dies. You will lose brightness this way, but you'll gain a lot of control over the shade of yellow you end up with in exchange.

Their amber is a nice golden yellow I'm not a fan of yellow but it's an attractive warm color

You can always do your own mixes. In my experience, my best yellows have been custom mixes of red and green. If you are not using a soundboard that allows you to adjust the drive on the LEDs, I'd go with a tri-Rebel LED, with red orange and lime green mixed for a fantastic yellow.
