I recently built my asp champion saber. champion plug and play sound kit V2. It was working awesome for a month or so. Recently it seems like its mot taking a charge. When i turn it on it works for a second or two then shuts off and says "saber core crimson" is this a bad battery issue? Or something else.
I was carful and did not twist the wires up when I assembled. And it was working perfect but now a month latter its not. Need some trouble shooting advise. If i can change the battery myself I would rather go that route. |

Hi Wolfsaber,
Sorry to hear about your saber issues. I am no expert by a long shot but the symptoms could be related to a faulty Recharge Port. There have been reports of a batch of bad ports and maybe you have one installed in your hilt. Cutting open the Champion Kit package to replace a battery would void any warranty you have so your best bet would be to contact Customer Services (at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ) and describe your issues to them in as much detail as possible. if you can, make a video and send them the URL link to it too. Hi again,
No problem. I'm not saying that is the problem but it's possible as I've seen/read a couple of cases of a saber intermittently working and "Stuttering" as it where. Of course SF are in a much better position to advise you and tell you your options. Let us know how you get on ok! For Tyeth |
