TOPIC: My Arbiter Saber Arrived!

Hi everyone! Fenris here, just making my first post about my saber that arrived today!

On April 29th I ordered a Warrior level Arbiter with a "Deep Blue" colouring and a 12w LED (which is worth it for the rechargeable battery alone). Since it's my first Saber I decided not to get sound, especially since I'm from Canada and the exchange rate would have killed me. I ordered it because I'm in the midst of creating a Kyle Katarn costume (Jedi Outcast version) for the premier of The Force Awakens, and the Arbiter was the closest, two handed hilt design to his saber.



Despite being told there was a 10-12 Week lead time and 5-10 day shipping time, It only took 10 weeks to be made and arrive here, so I'm extremely impressed. The battery had a very decent charge when I opened it, and despite me turning it on and swinging it around all day, it's brightness has yet to fade (though the battery looks like it's pretty tough to get out of it's holder, so I'm sort of dreading having to recharge). The blade has a single tiny imperfection close to the bottom where the light hits it funny, but I don't really mind.

All in all, I'm extremely impressed. The quality is amazing, it came quicker than expected, and to top it off, Shameem was extremely helpful via email. if I ever want to get another saber I'll be sure to shop here again. And I may in the future send my hilt back to be upgraded to Champion or Hero tier.

Is that a 37inch blade you have? I requested a 32 on Etsy but the more I think about it, the more I think that the 32 might be too short for the longer hilt.

Yessss, JO Kyle Katarn is awesome. That's a great color blade for him. I hope you post pictures of your costume when you're finished!

As requested, I took some pictures!



Here's the saber's Hilt from the top.



The top button turns the saber on, and the bottom one is purely cosmetic. Unlike some of the other sabers, the power button on the Arbiter doesn't light up for some reason. The power button feels like a pretty simple flash-light click button, I hope I won't wear it out.



The pommel is hollow, obviously to allow for sound (if your saber has it)



And the pommel also unscrews really easily to reveal the battery pack.




The blade is removed easily with the supplied Allen key




Something I wasn't expecting was that it included a simple blade pug to replace the blade when it's not in use. It looks really cool and I'm glad they gave it to me.



As I mentioned in my first post, there is a spot 2 to 3 inches up from the hilt that the light hits kind of funny.



And the tip. The light doesn't exactly light it perfectly but it looks better than I expected it to .

Awesome review! I've been debating which saber I was going to buy after Christmas as my very first saber, and this one really jumps out at me in the 'Apprentice' section (I want to save money for my first blade lol). Definitely intend to pick one of these up now!

warrior saber buttons don't light up blade plugs are standard as for that line in the blade thats just the edge of the reflection plastic and an easy way to get the battery out is to gently push a screw driver into that little hole on the underside of the holder

How did your costume turn out? Was the saber the perfect finishing touch?

Nice! Can you show how far the blade slides into the hilt? I'm wondering how much of the blade is secured by the retention screw before. That's something missing from a lot of the reviews I've seen.

very cool, mine just arrived today, I got the champion edition. sadly though they forgot to send a blade with my hilt. hopefully I get things sorted out on that soon.
