No worries CMMJ. The Exile is a great hilt and the little difference in the grip is nothing to fret over. I haven't had one instance of it being uncomfortable in my hands. I must say that my Exile is wrapped though so it is not a "stock" version. Good luck in your decision friend! Did you get your wrapped version from the customs shop? |

These are some pretty nice sabers. That Exile looks sorely tempting actually, but I was really crossing my fingers for the Reborn saber. If they end up adding anymore I'll just have to hope it's among them.

I don't have a "next saber" I want to buy. I have several I want to make... I would buy a real renegade though. Mine is very nice, the weight of a metal one would be sweet.

Exile pics are probably outdated though. I'd guess the switch section's been replaced by the new ASP revision with two decorative red thumbscrews on top and two switch holes on the bottom. Similar to how the Reliant was changed from the activation-box switches to the 12mm AV on the bottom.

So apparently when I wasn't paying attention the Ka'Tano was also added to the main site, and I have to say behind the Chosen & Reborn the Ka'Tano is the one I'm most obsessed with. I just love the aesthetic's of it, and I'm failing miserably when it comes to talking myself out of buying it xD

At the time grip wraps weren't available on the Exile but Shameem(DarthMario) who was a CSR for SF back then did me a solid and made it happen. Looking back on it seeing as how he now does custom jobs I realize he may have wrapped it himself. |

Not by a long shot. The Etsy shop (when it reopens) will be for folks who don't like to wait. Pick a saber, pick a tier and blade color, and you get your saber within 1-2 weeks. The Etsy shop will have premade sabers in stock ready to ship, whereas the mainsite will be more customization-focused, and have a 4-6 week lead time. Now, this is mostly speculatory; however, this is also Phil's and the SF team's eventual goal. Pretty awesome, right?

Actually schmots, yes.
 I've been trying to figure out a good gift for my older brother (didn't get him anything for Christmas last year lol), and he really likes the Silver Knight. This is a good time for me. Now I just need summer to come along so I can start getting weekly paychecks... I'm kidding, schmots, I totally get the exclusivity thing. |

I am super stoked that they added the Phoenix and the Reborn. I really want both of them. What I am really wondering now is if I could switch my order from the Ka'tano to the Phoenix. I figure it would be pretty easy because of how similar they are.
