Still seems kind of strange that the post would be deleted. Wouldn't the mods just move it if it had been posted in the wrong subforum?

They used to. But I believe Knytiri stated some time ago that he was not going to do that anymore because it had become time consuming. All posts would simply be deleted and the OP would need to re-post in the correct place. |

Hi all,
I lost around 40 posts from my profile count due to an accidental deletion by the Moderation team around 2 weeks ago due to what's called "Housekeeping" or clearing unwanted files. Unfortunate, but can happen even to old timers like me. Kind regards For Tyeth |

Why don't you just repost it. Be sure to put it in a appropriate thread and see what happens? It very well could've been accidental. Making a post to vent might not be the way to go.

It was most likely deleted by accident when we were cleaning spam. Throwing profanities and complaining about it are a good way to get a warning on the forum, however.

Given the volume of SPAM deletions that have had to happen recently, I can see how it could have gotten deleted accidentally. I know it involves some work, but just repost it mate! We all love that kind of stuff, and would not mind seeing it return.
