Just trawling through randoms at work when it spits out this one:

Almost exactly like the one I put together in the main hilt design thread:

Hit random once and it spits out this lovely:

Looks like a brother to Sith570's second hilt. Edit: lol, just saw that it's also similar to the my post before that. Random seems to have a thing for thin necks. Then again, there are like 9 in the builder, so it makes sense.

Favorite random so far:Borommakot wrote:
The builder gave me this with just one push of "random"! I rotated the emitter a bit, but other than that, thought it was pretty rad all on its own.

Eight-clicks of the Random Saber Tab with the following eight results. To think I could've just done this long ago rather spend countless hours configuring the pieces by part and alignment to the point of repetition.

I love that design! I myself designed something almost exactly the same, just something about it makes it feel like a true ancient weapon from a more civilised age :D Like an heirloom from the Old Republic.

Still thinking of a name though, either Praetor, Nomarch, Strategos, Tyrant, Equilibrium or Autokrator.

Slightly tweaked, rotation and finish. Added a coupler to balance out the first one.

The random generator was spitting out some winners, but it still managed one Frankenhilt. Parts are random, just flipped and finished.

Very Nice Winners. I am liking the last one Posted with Gladius Emitter. If that's your FrankenHilt well I'd gladly accept that beast. Have you ever wondered if the Random Generator is completely Random or whether it factors frequently used Parts when you do you own builds?

 Definitely not the last one, that Redeemer pole thing Ugh! Tried real hard to put some makeup on it, but was unsuccessful.
Hard to say how the randomizer produces combinations. I've noticed that it will reuse parts in frequent succession though. As far as it adapting and utilizing parts commonly choosen, well I'm not sure. However if the random button was on a slot machine tonight, it definitely produced some winners! B)

I "messed around" with a lot thin neck ASP designs on the virtual builder. Admittedly, I still think the Redeemer, Prodigal Son and Exhalted still look best. Maybe I am just too used to them. But the thin neck is a real canon saber.

Random Spin, One.. Two... Three.

My theory's out the window. Never once have I used or looked at a Katana Emitter and whoop, there it is.

EDIT: (Text cut and missed the Post-Train)

There's really not much that can change with such classic designs. If anything, Redeemer and PS enables a possible swap-around of the actual Thin Neck and even with Box deletion for ergonomics optimised for some, Exalted caters for that. I have noticed that the faux arrows on PS Switch are no longer coloured and can only presume (since the Builder Update) they won't be.
