It is here! My small rectangular prism of joy has arrived (no toblerone this time ::lol:: ). Of course, I'm in the middle of a paper so it's gonna give me my motivation to finish! Video to come.

Very excited to see the saber! Please post a few glamour shots, too, if you have the extra time to show it off! ;)

Well shit guys what can I say, my webcam is busted so I have no video. As a consolation prize I took pictures!

These guys are BEAUTIFUL. I can't even grasp how amazing they feel in my hands. Axe looks mean as a dog (that Juggernaut Emitter is unbelievable, the details are amazing and the hidden LED set screw is such a nice detail) and Stinger looks like an assassin's stealth weapon. I can't wait to put 2 deep red LEDs in them. I'm ordering 2 #2 couplers to put above the switch sections so the full hilts are a touch longer so I definitely will have room for Electronics and to balance out the massive Juggernaut emitter lol (unfortunately my rewards program points aren't working and I'm not spending 45 bucks for 2 couplers and shims when I could spend 20, I emailed CS about that so we'll see).

Right now they measure:

Axe: 10 inches from pommel to Emitter opening, 14 inches Pommel to Claw tips

Stinger: 9.75 Pommel to Emitter

Battleaxe: 24 inches

So when the couplers come in it'll just be an inch longer and the staff will be 2 inches longer. Saberforge you did it again, I'm in love.

Man, that's awesome. And that emitter is an absolute beast. Very nice designs.

Brings a tear of joy to my eye :')

Today I put in an order for a shim kit to finish straightening out stinger and two #2 fm couplers to put above the switch sections on both to increase the length and add a little grip under the juggernaut claws. I decided on a whim to buy a couple of the lighted sectional switches and I think I'm gonna buy the pieces for the electronics bit by bit. I found a universal chassis for the battery and soundboard that has a piece I can attach for the speaker on the goth designs site. I'm so excited to build these!

Got in the lighted switches the F/M connectors and the second shim kit. After what felt like hours of adjusting shims I finally got everything all straightened out and it's perfect. The extra inch under the emitters is a perfect grip point.

Looks awesome!

As an alternative to a staff... you could put a blade plug in the "Stinger" end and use it as a spear!

Thanks guys!

That was what I was going for! :cheer: I was inspired by darth maul fighting with only one emitter before the second blade came out and blew my young mind haha. I really wanted my staff config to look like a battle axe with a noticeable pommel end that, of course is an emitter, but doesnt look blatantly like one.

The force is flowing through this build, I'm sure my excitement is easily perceptible

Sadira, I think great minds think alike.

I'm working on something very similar right now. Just waiting for the rest of my parts to come in. I was going more for the spear than the staff and mine will be black. Yours is actually one of the first designs that I like in the silver.

Good Job

Thanks squidious, I was thinking of doing this in all black originally when I first posted my original design on the ASP hilt design gallery but it went through a few revisions and my taste definitely lies with the standard two tone finish. Looking forward to seeing what you get!

Recharge Ports, Goth Chassis, and two more #2 M/F Connector (so I can make my staff coupler longer by 2 inches) are coming in this week. Just gotta get the LED parts, speakers, and soundboards and I'm in business!

Saberforge and TCSS shipments came in today so a couple simple updates to the saber, I filled out the length of the coupler with 2 more f/m couplers (weirdly enough they had two different inner diameters? No big deal but struck me as odd)
I also popped in the charge ports and removed the thermal paste from the back plug and play switches to get them ready for me to rewire them.

The other thing that came in was my brass thumb screw for my blade retention screw, i am a fan of brass accents against the black and aluminum saber, they work perfectly for my venom and on the juggernaut emitter. On stinger's emitter the pommel flare stopped it from screwing in all the way so I had to grind it down to an angle so it'd fit. I'm gonna grind it down more to an even angle but it works for now. And whenever saberforge restocks their brass covertech wheels I'll have to snap those up.

(Incidentally the coupler doesn't need any shims, it makes the timing on the sabers perfect on its own! Lol dumb luck)

Custom kill keys,

This time I used my Dremel to cut existing kill keys down so they fit inside a lamp knob and then I just super glued them in there and covered the back with a small circle of construction paper.

Looking good! The brass accents add a nice touch.

TCSS has the "plug" part of the kill keys, so you don't have to destroy an SF kill key to make a custom one.

Got brass covertechs, so I'm brass accented out now.

Also finished grinding down the retention screw

Before:

After:

I'll have to clean up the finish but it fits and that's the most important thing.
