It's no problem, I'm glad to help you out! It does make for a neat asymmetrical staff.
I'll be logging out soon so if you have any more ideas just PM them to me and I'll get them done tomorrow (I'm going to sleep soon...it's 2:40 AM and I promised I'd look after myself a bit better!)

Updated my Pit Viper concept on pg 51. Switched bodies from Reliant to 04... that pattern reminds me of scales, and would look epic with the custom colors I plan on using.

As in the edits on the other post, I plan on ordering it in all-black, then using 24k gold leaf to make it dual-tone black/gold instead of silver/black.

Might not be getting it for while (probably next year), since I have kind of exhausted my saber funds for the year and have two other single hilts I want to get first.

Great concept KelbornX. That body section definitely adds to the viper aesthetic. Your finish idea with 24k gold leaf is beyond my capacity of reality, but would look fantastic. Looking forward to the eventual reveal. MTFBWY

If you can afford 24kt gold leaf on all that, then I can only determine that you have way too much money. Despite my age of 45, I'm willing to be adopted!
Are you going to do anything about the bodies? I've read on here that those grooves can be pretty sharp. Look good. I will be golding up latest saber next year after it's off warranty.

Haha, gold leaf is actually pretty cheap. It's usually around $50 or so for a 25 sheet book, and each sheet is about 2sq ft. Gold is actually the cheapest metal to gild or electroplate considering how little of it you actually need to use compared to other metals.

If I get the parts first myself I'll definitely sand/file the edges first, that's for sure. Got cut a few times already on my Dissident emitter rofl. If the parts go right into the smith doing the install, since I plan on using NBv3 with Tri-Rebel Lime-Lime-X (not sure what I want for FoC yet) I'm sure they'd be willing to do it for me before the gilding.

Thanks for the kind words. No I didn't see the Patriot Axe, unfortunately I don't use FB due to a family issue. I had designed a range of NFL/NHL/ English Premier League football designs a few months back and had been teasing folks about them before I posted them. But like you I can't say where they are posted but a quick Google search for me should bring them up (and a whole lot more!).

Funny thing is the designs are my own but recently it was hinted that I may have "Modified" the new SF Ronin with my 3 Piece Katana series sabers I posted here a week or so back. Well I posted the first "Cherry Blossom Katana" on the 13th of Jan then SF revealed their Ronin on the main website on the 15th, and with SF's policy of not posting pre release render pictures anymore I didn't see the SF saber until it was displayed on the main website!

And I like your sabers you have posted, you can see that you have put thought into them. Look forward to seeing more.

EDIT: Just Googled that Patriots Axe head blade....HOLY (insert own expletive)! Sadly I can't use that in the builder, c'mon SF where is the Parts Upgrade?

Well here's my saber design. I've been obsessing over the day I'll actually order this (probably around September, or early October this year) and I've been changing the pommel and switch section to fit my liking. I think I designed the final product that is what I will order in 7 - 8 months from now.



I plan to order this with Champion Assembly package, 32 inch blade, Deep Red LED (thanks KelbornX for suggesting the change from Red to Deep Red) and Crimson soundboard.
I don't have a name for it yet. Any suggestions?

Based on your Sith name, how about "The Slaughter" stemming from - Caedus, from the verb "caedo" meaning to cut, or the noun meaning to slaughter.

Here is one of my MANY saber designs. I spend entirely too much time on the saber builder, ha ha. Based on the numerous cool builds, I'm sure someone has already designed something like this. But I added the copper emitter as "wishful thinking".
