I can definitely see the difference on the edge of the blades and definitely see where you are coming from. I still like this saber and the idea behind it. Do you think you will continue to work with the finish?

the grit was 600 (the only grit i had at the time). lots of elbow grease to remove the top layer textured finish. then followed by a metal polish by hand.
