TOPIC: ASP Survivor

So, here's what is was supposed to look like, generally speaking...





Here's what was in the box...




If you notice, I didn't get the shims/spacers, so these pictures with my hand at the emitter are with me spacing it manually to get everything lined up right.








and these with my hand at the pommel are with all the threading tightened down.






There's only a few cosmetic differences that I noticed.





The build doesn't have the brass pin (which I actually liked from the mock-up)

The lower greeble on the switch section is black...but I rather like having the red & black instead of two red.

And the coloration if the darker sections...but again, that's livable. If I want them blacked out or darker, I can do that.


I didn't glue in the fake buttons, as I do intend on getting the electronics pack to bump this up to at least warrior, if not champion when my credit card stops crying.

Looks lovely one question though. I too am hoping to get the rebel emitter and I also liked the brass Pin.
It's there at least a hole or something in the place to add some kind of greebly detail if required?

Huh, well no brass pin is actually good news for me. That's the emitter I had my eye on when ASP goes public. I thought I would have to dremel it off, as I didn't want it getting in the way for dueling or spinning.

Finally got my stand in....it's got the Imperial logo, so I might airbrush the Rebel logo over it.

Still no spacers/shims though. Hopefully when they finally send that coupon code for backers ( ) I can buy the champion electronics and finish it out. Maybe use the gift certificate from the 50for250 from ordering my Vanquish for it.
