I received my saber today, and the wait was definitely worth it! I am in love with the design and it works great! It took a bit of tinkering to get put together, but in the end I figured it out and have been absorbed in the saber all night. The LED i bought a while back was slightly too big for it, but it still ended up fitting in, so all is well.

Nice! Congrats! Great looking design, you have! May I ask what the length of that body piece is?

ZakP, nice design. Short prodigal son, and black katana body work well, awesome saber! What color LED?

It.s a medium blue LED, and the length of the body piece is 4 inches, for the user who asked. I've also got a green LED of the Saberforge store that I've been swapping out as I've tested the saber

Very nice look. Love the brass contrast against the the rest of the hilt. Two questions for you.
1. How long is the hilt?
2. Was the thin neck loose at all on that emitter?

Thank you for sharing!
I will seek the courage to change the things I can in my life.

1. The hilt is 11 and 3/8 inches long
2. No, it was not loose. Granted, all the pieces were loosely screwed together when I opened the box, but after assembly and tightening, nothing has been loose.

Very nice design, well done! Welcome too!

Did you glue the switch in place? If so, then how?

No i did not glue the switch, though there was a fake switch, which covers the hole above the activation switch, that I did glue on as i didn't see an way to attach it. But the switch itself had a small nut that threaded onto the switch when it was in the socket. It was very hard to position right, but no glueing needed there.
