I found myself really liking the female lead in this one and events in it directly tied into TFA which was cool to know some of that backstory.

Lost Stars is easily in my top 5 favorite SW novels. It's the first SW book (that I remember) that took the care to contextualize how a "good people" could be soldiers in the Empire. The love story at the center was believable and touching. I really can't say enough nice things about it.

Ya so far she has written my two favorite new cannon books so far.
Well I guess I really liked new dawn too but that was more to do with the characters than the writing. |
