Yes, I had heard about this.
Should be interesting, since we are taking the same character, placing him in a different time period, under very different circumstances, and essentially being exactly who we remember him to be. Also of interest is the fact that Timothy Zahn is writing it. |

I'm glad Timothy Zahn is writing it, who knows the Grand Admiral better than his creator?
Should definitely be good. I hope the fact that he's cannon again means he'll be appearing (or at least mentioned) in Episode VIII and/or IX. |

SO EXCITED!
I've loved the Thrawn trilogy ever since it first came out - he definitely ranks as one of the best Star Wars antagonists (NOT villains, please note). You've seen this pic, right?
