So I am putting a cosplay together for Rebel Legion and this is what I have so far. My buddy Josh Geatz made it for me. He is going to Columbia College in Chicago for design and is in his senior year. IT is all lined and made of screen accurate materials.

I'm a member of Rebel Legion (but by no means a judge or anything) and your outfit looks good to me.
Only thing I can see (or can't see) is whether or not you have belt pouches. You may want to double check but I think the requirement is two pouches. You might have em, just can't tell.
Otherwise I think this looks excellent. I'm a big fan of the hooded outer tunic and overall color scheme. Your friend does top notch work.

I've wanted to join the rebel legion for a while now, but I don't think they accept unique jedi costumes? I've been building armor, tor inspired, but I don't see any catagories for unique cosplay. Is that a no go?

I know the 501st is popular for their variety with sith attire.

I'm pretty sure the generic tor Jedi armor is acceptable.
All ways in black or white. Why not grey

I can't find any info on it, only generic jedi, which lists requirements from average jedi robe/tabard etc.

The costume I'm making only has a hood/chest armor, no tabards or belt, since it would look weird over armor. (It's Tor inspired, not the typical armored jedi)

I've gotten a couple of costumes through the Legion costume approval process in the last three or four months and while I was researching armor for Jedi I found that the only armor allowed is the clone wars forearm armor. Now, that's for formal status... an informal costume you could get away with more armor. But in order to be a member of the Legion you first have to have a formal costume. Generic Jedi is easy enough to pull off, then add armor and get that version of the costume approved as informal... yes you have to make a couple of extra pieces but in the long run it makes getting in easier.
