TOPIC: ESB Bespin Luke Skywalker

An exciting week. Finally after over a year of waiting, my Anovos ESB Bespin Luke Skywalker Jacket and Pant arrived. What can I say? It was definitely worth the wait. The material quality is outstanding, and the fit is perfect. I won't have to do any modifications (now if only they would do a ROTJ so I can upgrade mine ).

Breakdown of the outfit is:
Jacket: Anovos
Pants: Anovos
Belt, holster and pouches: MPFilmcraft
Blaster: Master Replicas
Lightsaber: Yoda Vintage Graflex V
Boots: JDos

Apologies for the crappy hair. Working from home today Only had a short time to try on the outfit and take pics on my lunchbreak. Will try to take some more later, preferably outside in the forest. Future plans will probably be to weather the outfit. It's a bit too clean

I think the batteries on my saber must have be getting low, as it is throwing off a bit of a purple hue. It has a darker Blue die to add a bit of variance over my ANH Graflex.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Got a chance to take some more pics today. For whatever reason, my camera is just not capturing the correct blue coming off the saber, so I drew over it in PS. Probably because the LEDs aren't as strong as the ones from SF. The saber is not really meant for dueling, it's meant for display.

Didn't get outside due to the weather, but I did find a blank wall to shoot against. Moved to a new house, so the blank walls are disappearing as we finish each room Oh well.

Wow! Another great cosplay from you ic3cold. I really like the Bespin Luke costume great job and can't wait to see what you do next.

LOL!! No pant colour issues this go around . And happily no alterations needed. Now I just need to keep my figure and I'll be good to go.

Currently I store the garments in my closet in suit bags to keep them clean and protected. The belts as well. In the future I want to have some display cases in my office, but for now the priority is to get some of the other rooms more functional It's an old house, and the person before us had a "unique" sense of style . You will notice behind me the wall is made up of trim rotated 90 degrees and painted white (?). Crazyness . I also have a toddler who I know will eventually become a huge SW fan. That will be hugely beneficial in terms of my collection, and yet highly risky at the same time

Curiously, this weekend I had a mini brain wave. I need to get a Vader costume for myself and a mini-Bespin for my son. Then we could go as father and son in real life and in the SW universe . lol!!

The only think that I con see to improve in the last picture is the way you grip the lightsaber.
