An exciting week. Finally after over a year of waiting, my Anovos ESB Bespin Luke Skywalker Jacket and Pant arrived. What can I say? It was definitely worth the wait. The material quality is outstanding, and the fit is perfect. I won't have to do any modifications (now if only they would do a ROTJ so I can upgrade mine :P).

Breakdown of the outfit is:
Jacket: Anovos
Pants: Anovos
Belt, holster and pouches: MPFilmcraft
Blaster: Master Replicas
Lightsaber: Yoda Vintage Graflex V
Boots: JDos

Apologies for the crappy hair. Working from home today :) Only had a short time to try on the outfit and take pics on my lunchbreak. Will try to take some more later, preferably outside in the forest. Future plans will probably be to weather the outfit. It's a bit too clean :)

I was pretty excited when it shipped after many months of being "rescheduled". Since I was a kid this has been my all time favorite outfit from the Original Trilogy: even more than ROTJ. I really liked that Luke was in transition and carried both a lightsaber and blaster.

I think the batteries on my saber must have be getting low, as it is throwing off a bit of a purple hue. It has a darker Blue die to add a bit of variance over my ANH Graflex.

Thanks for looking :)

I think I like this more than your ROTJ costume. Very cool!

Yeah, that aspect of his character has definitely been an inspiration to me, too. Plus it's fun to be able to carry both when cosplaying it!

Sweet costume. Looks like it's right out the movie! It just looks like it was well worth the wait.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Got a chance to take some more pics today. For whatever reason, my camera is just not capturing the correct blue coming off the saber, so I drew over it in PS. Probably because the LEDs aren't as strong as the ones from SF. The saber is not really meant for dueling, it's meant for display.

Didn't get outside due to the weather, but I did find a blank wall to shoot against. Moved to a new house, so the blank walls are disappearing as we finish each room :) Oh well.

Great addition to your Cosplay wardrobe ic3cold. I shall conclude that there weren't any dramas of uncertainty surrounding pant colour this time? ;) Curious. When not on person, do you simply hang this (these) on a hanger in your closet or (consistent to you other displays) have you either a mannequin torso that displays the pieces or behind a Perspex Box? As for blank walls becoming well un-blank, have you thought as a Muriel (or even wallpapered as a backdrop) an aerial immersion of clouds? New House, new address, new designated SW Room only makes sense right? :)

LOL!! No pant colour issues this go around :). And happily no alterations needed. Now I just need to keep my figure and I'll be good to go.

Currently I store the garments in my closet in suit bags to keep them clean and protected. The belts as well. In the future I want to have some display cases in my office, but for now the priority is to get some of the other rooms more functional :) It's an old house, and the person before us had a "unique" sense of style :). You will notice behind me the wall is made up of trim rotated 90 degrees and painted white (?). Crazyness :). I also have a toddler who I know will eventually become a huge SW fan. That will be hugely beneficial in terms of my collection, and yet highly risky at the same time

Impersonates Vader's voice as he greets his son in Bespin: "The Force is with you, ic3cold...Impressive...Most impressive!" :cheer:

Curiously, this weekend I had a mini brain wave. I need to get a Vader costume for myself and a mini-Bespin for my son. Then we could go as father and son in real life and in the SW universe :). lol!! :P :woohoo:

I have a 4 year old son and had this EXACT same thought. He's more apt to go dark side though... so he might actually go along with the rule the galaxy as father and son....

Maybe you need to go Han Solo and Kylo Ren then :). Either way we both die as dads :)

Trying some techniques to replace the background and add the appropriate light reflections. Work in progress, but this just became my new profile pic:

Awesome cosplay!
The only think that I con see to improve in the last picture is the way you grip the lightsaber.
I've seen in the movies that inclusive with the left hand grip the "bunny hears" point downway
