TOPIC: Jedi Master Arsalaan Kasar

I finally finished my cosplay character to the point I feel comfortable revealing it......

Arsalaan Kasar was the only one of his littermates found to be Force-sensitive and was trained in the ways of the Jedi Order. Even though the Jedi way tended to be in opposition to the Cathars’ natural tendencies, through countless hours of training and meditation Kasar developed an impressive bond with the Living Force allowing him to connect with the wildlife around him. The construction of his lightsaber which dons a blue crystal also utilizes animal leather to remind him of his connection to the Living Force. Eventually rising to the Rank of Master during the Clone Wars, Master Kasar and his Padawan were renowned for their many search and destroy missions against the Separatists and their search and rescue missions. Following the execution of Order 66 and the death of his Padawan, Master Kasar now carries his former student’s lightsaber.

How are those boots? Like are they comfortable and do you feel they could be used for choreographing a duel? (i.e take a bit of a beating) those are the ones I've been looking at.

I usually wear a size 11 so I ordered the 10-11 size and they are extremely comfortable. A lot of Rebel Legion members have used a pair of boots like these or still do so I think they can take quite a beating.

My next step with my cosplay is to upgrade it to 501st standards. I'm in TDA, which is cool and all, but they're a little more lax on some things. Just need to upgrade a couple things and I think I'll be 501st ready myself.

Anyway... grats on the RL approval. =D

I'm looking to get my costume together for 501st myself - there is a chapter in the Hudson Valley New York Region which is my backyard.

What characters are y'all doing for the 501st?

I haven't nailed it down yet. Definitely Sith Lord. Been considering Nihilus, Revan and Starkliller.

Probably have to adapt mine to a Maul, I think. I think they stopped allowing custom characters. They used to, from what I remember (granted, it's been a LONG while since I've reviewed their requirements until just now, when you reminded me that I wanted to do that. Haha...)

Yea the 501st is definitely a lot stricter with their requirements that's why I chose the RL path first to do a generic jedi however I wanted. Eventually I might do a Revan.

Suppose my character is versatile enough to pass as a custom Jedi... maybe I'll sneak into the RL if the 501st turn me away. Be a spy. MUAHAHA....

Side question. Does the Rebel Legion accept Gray Jedi? When my costume is complete I was thinking of joining, but I figured this was a gray area. Mine would have a unique backstory like your's does.
