So I donned my TDA approved Sith Lord outfit to a local city convention that was having it's first ever opening near where I live.
The first year convention was probably the most impressive I've seen yet. The staff and community really went out of the way to make it unique and keep the act going, so it turned out to be much bigger than I anticipated.
While I was there, I wielded non-other than my Saberforge Gladius, hero edition. It impressed quite a few individuals. I wrote up a report for The Dark Alliance for this event as well.

Personal Experiences:
-I won "Best Novice" award for my first convention attendance due to my TDA Designated costume.
-I was extremely popular for my costume and personality. I was "in character" MOST of the time.
-I handed out at least 50 TDA Business cards to interested cosplayers.
-I was featured in a simple saber spinning video for a montage.
-I was featured in many photographs from the general public. I gathered as many as I could.
-I was featured in a Podcast by a local Podcast group.
-A local professional photographer from "Fo-To-Werks" was infatuated with my costume and backstory, and has given me information to arrange for a future photoshoot.
-I had two artists commission artwork of me, both of which are extremely fantastic pieces.
-I bought a bunch of junk, haha.
