TOPIC: Newest Cosplay - Sith Lord

Just wanted to share after wearing it out to the movies tonight! Outfit held up well and was mad comfortable, so no complaints there!

Still dont have a name for this character, but Im sure i'll come up with something eventually. I envisioned him having a desert walker type feel to the character.

I ended up trying for a "tattered but treasured" feel the textural style, while visually I wanted to pull from the clothing of palpatine or darth maul ("subtle" evil. no spikes, no over-the-top "im dark and villianous!" type parts).

Anyway, feedback is always welcome!


Sabers are the venomous fury, and consular

Finally just wanted to add a closeup of the obi wrap as well since the photos dont quite capture the detail. Its shredded red fabric with black mesh underneath the tears. I wanted to keep the worn/desert walker type look from the outer tunic consistent.

The boots have an almost alligator/reptilian print on them (not scales) and are matte enough in their finish to feel worn in (with time they'll get some authentic scuffs/dirt im quite sure)

Interesting combination of hilts. Im planned to eventually get a consular and sinister prophecy. My avatar was done with the Darth Maul Hasbro 2-pack(which I'm trying to get rid of so i can afford my first saber)

Awesome cosplay, sir! Most impressed. I agree with Slenaas, that is a most unusual combo of hilts, but it does seem to work well.

Would you ever think about adding a black cloak, out of curiosity?
