Over the next year I will be trying to work on a New Republic Jedi costume; hopefully I will have something together for the premier!

I have something in the works myself for when the new movies come out. I just hope I can get everything together in time with how limited my finances are.

This is my first concept for my Old Republic Jedi Shadow costume for the Episode VII premiere.
But I think the final costume will be some tones darker, because of my black leatherlook pants ^^

I plan on going as a Jedi with the Gladius I orderd. Haven't decided on a design yet, but still got time

This is gorgeous!!! What kind of fabrics and layers are you wanting to utilize? It makes me think of Satele Shan's outfit a little, but in styling and color only, it is still very unique and stunning. Personally I think Satele's outfit, which most ppl make almost solely out of panels of leather/pleather, is too restrictive looking and doesn't really flow well with your body - I think a good balance between leather and fabrics would really make this outfit pop! Coming from a Neutral/Dark Side gal, what color scheme are you thinking? besides the black pants, which, let's be honest, pretty much go with anything! ^_^ you'd said some darker tones, still in the browns/natural palette, or blacks w/contrasting colors? I can't wait to see you make this! Good luck!!!

Looks great, can't wait to see it finished. I will hopefully be starting my first jedi costume this weekend. It's also for a shadow. Though I don't know much about the star wars timeline, my exposure has been the movies, clone wars series, and various books and comics from the prequel era as Obi-wan is my favorite. |
