Since posting this photo on facebook I've had a few people asking how it was made, materials used etc so I thought I'd make this post for all to see:

I was blown away by everyone kind words and the number of likes the photo got, thanks everyone!
Below is all a lazy copy paste from my original WIP thread to hopefully answer some questions that people had:
So I've already submitted one Alien Dark Sided Force user, but I've started on another one.
I've always liked this photoshopped image and wanted to make a version of it.
When I made my Kel Dor Dark Jedi, it was essentially a trial run into working with Latex to make a mask like that, now this is the build that the trial was intended for.

It was all looking a bit green though right? Like a bit too "Jedi". Well, I thought so anyway.
So I started thinking about alternate colours.
The red skinned "Sith Tattoo" style should have been the direction I went for initially, but my wife somehow convinced me that it was a bit 'cliche', so I avoided it.... but I ended up back with it. I had a look at so many of the EU Sith that had the red and black colour scheme, and of course it was only right.
Inspired by Other "Sith Tattooed" Star Wars characters.
Darth Maul:
Darth Talon:
Darth Stryfe:
Darth Wyyrlok III:
Darth Azard:
Darth Havok:
Darth Rauder:
Darth Ruyn:
So, now my mask ended up looking more like this:

Working on the tendrils is a slow process....

Added a bit more paint to the main head part:

Next up , came the tendril attaching. Another slow process.

And then tonight, I've finally been able to see if I could actually remove the mask from the head cast. It came of with a bit of a struggle and the part I most worried about was the eyes popping out(poundland sunglasses lenses :lol!: ). The eyes stayed in and I was finally able to wear it:

It is heavy - real heavy, but I can see better than the Kel Dor mask
There's still more work to be done before I move onto the lightsaber and the other costume pieces, the main costume will be the same as before only with some accessory changes.

I also need to add the Sith Tattoos to the rear tendrils (only just started the front ones a couple of hours ago)

That's it so far. Now I need to sort out the Saber and other costume parts.
I hope this answers peoples questions, but if not then post below
