Has anyone bought a custom Jedi costume from twin roses? Looking at buying one later, but can't figure out how do do a custom order. I'm wanting to get a different color then the cream color. Any help would be greatly appreciated

On the custom order page you can have a costume made from any of the fabrics listed there, and to and to answer all the question listed and fill out the measurement chart . I recently asked about doing another custom order there, just to let you know they are not taking custom orders now do to being involved with producing costumes for a performance and was told if 8-10 weeks is good contact them after April 15th. I guess i will have to wait as i would like them to do the costume.

I have to get busy on tracking down my complete cosplay outfit... comic cons are coming and I must be ready... has anyone that's purchased from these guys speak for the total price for a full outfit? Everything I see listed are bits and pieces here and there and I'm really wanting to just make one purchase and get it all at once.

I have seen full tops of costumes on their website (under tunic, tunic, tabards, obi, and belt) for $130.00. They have a Jedi or Sith option. Jedi is a cream colored and Sith is black. Or you can do the custom option but I have no idea how much that will increase the cost. Maybe Darth Tyranus can fill in on the custom order cost

I had my custom sleeveless tunic set made by Twin Roses, and that ended up being about $130 plus shipping, while my custom wool robe cost $230 plus shipping.

I emailed Andrea (the lady who makes the costumes) and she told me that she's not taking orders until the 15 of April (She's overloaded with orders... Does that remind you of anything)?
Otherwise it's a very kind lady! Before you ask for a customized costume, make sur to check all the materials she's offering and talk ALL your measurements! |

Hake Felflame, did your tunic set look anything like the ones pictured on the website, or is it all sleeveless? And Revan, I won't be getting a custom one until the summer at the earliest but thanks for the heads up

Tunic is sleeveless. Mock turtleneck as the inner layer. Custom idea not on their website. Rest of my posted images here. |

This was just based on a sketch I made and the standard pattern they use, I think. No extra length on the shoulder width measurement.

Yah but just the top outfit isn't everything... apparently they don't even offer pants. or gloves.. or boots. And the robe is also extra... bah. Someone needs to go into business making one stop shopping an option for cosplayers.

That's what cheap mass-production costumes are for. Gloves, boots, pants, all those things are real world items already, with far too many options in most cases. The tunic set and robes don't exist anywhere outside Star Wars costuming, thus being the focus of custom makers.

Hey guys,
I ordered a custom outer tunic, inner tunic, obi, and hooded tabard from them a few months ago. They are set to arrive this week. All in all its was 300.00 including shipping. For just the outer tunic, inner tunic, and obi it was 150.00. The tabard was 150.00 by itself. All with custom order pricing if that helps. |

That's what I thought! It seems fairly well priced to make everything listed with the custom measurements I provided. I'm just glad I got the order in before they suspended custom orders. I placed the Twin rose order after my Saber order on January 21st so her turn around isn't too awful either.

This is going to come as a shock, but most of the professional cosplayers I know use normal pants. Which blew my kriffing mind. Hahaha. I know there's a thread somewhere that lists everywhere that has really good cosplay products.
