Huge shout out to my photographer and editors, I just love how they turned out!!!

That resilient/venemous fury combo!!!! Oh my goodness that is so beautiful! Totally stealing that idea for my first SF saber when I get one. Or maybe some other pommel. Always liked the redeemer/prodigal son pommels.

Awesome and beautiful photos! I really like seeing "dauntless" on your forearm. Is that a permanent tattoo? The details of your costume and especially your top and belt are fantastic. What do you use these photos for? Thanks loads for sharing.

Man! That is some quality character work!

I especially love the one with you removing the saber from dead hand of its owner, presumably after have just fallen to your dueling prowess. There are a couple of them, but in one of them, you have a look on your face that says while he was given the chance to retire to live for at least one more day, he opted not to take it, and the outcome was inevitable.

Thank you all for your kind words! It's taken me over a year and a half to finally put it all together - and there is still one more piece to be added that will be debuted at Celebration!!!

These photos are of my original character that started as an RP character on a different lightsaber forum - it has since then evolved and improved as I figure out what pieces I can add to make it more dynamic, the latest being the new Custom Resiliant Fury and the Nexu claw.

I generally just share awesome Star Wars stuff and gamer stuff along with my cosplay photos on facebook, so that's what these were for, besides just being awesome! ^_^ If you want to check it out, just type Aletani Acklay into the facebook search bar, it should pull up my page.

I appreciate the feedback on the photos, it's fun to try and pull off a good scenario or mood or action in photos. I'm glad they were quality and pulled off what I was going for.

One other reason I like getting these pics is just b/c of the fun collaboration between photographer and model - finding the right lighting, angle, and pose/look to pull off a particular photo is just so rewarding.

My previous photoshoot was just with my hubby on the other side of the camera as I kind of directed him for the shots that I was looking for, you can find those in the Cosplay gallery under the Female Dark Jedi Cosplay topic, if you haven't already checked them out.

And again you impress me! Aletani, you are amazing.

Very nice. That is one heck of a saber. Not sure if the costume enhances the saber or the saber enhances the costume. I didn't care for the pistol on a sith (not that it's a bad prop) until the belt picture and then I understood. All very very well done.

Nice paintjob with the Nerf Reflex (at least I think that's what it's called). Awesome costume! And those contact lenses add a really effective little detail.

I don't actually have colored contacts, that's post processing - unfortunately it's hard to find colored contacts that are sithy for astygmatism. >_< oh well.

That looks fantastic! I can't wait to finally finish putting mine together! The one thing about mine that kinda scares me is that it's my first time building a cosplay and it's a red-black color scheme instead of a black-red.

Hellspawn, the feather darts were a fun idea I had from one of my RP characters and the belt happened to go with this outfit better than my dark Jedi outfit. Lol. They're actually little feather decoration thingies from Hobby Lobby, worked out well as darts, just can't take them out of the belt slots. Haha.

Thanks Darth Intefector, I just looked thru your cosplay thread. It's a great first cosplay, makes me think of an urban sith type outfit. You'll only get better at piecing outfits together as you go.
