TOPIC: Standard Finish Exhalted, Warrior 12w Deep Blue

Here's a little background information on this purchase:

During the craze from the first teaser trailer of TFA, my desire to own a duel ready professional lightsaber had awoken from its deep slumber. I stumbled across SaberForge when I was browsing lightsabers on YouTube. I was instantly amazed by their craftsmanship and their astoundishing quality. Their designs were intricate, very detailed, and had much more flair than other saber companies' designs. And that was when I discovered the Exhalted.

It was everything I had always wanted; my dream saber. It had the thin neck design of Obi Wan's and the silver and black grenade section of Luke's. And the major bonus of the hilt was that it had no control box for comfortability. It took many months before I could actually buy the saber. So I stared patiently at the Exhalted as more of TFA's trailers flew by. I purchased this saber on September 22nd and it arrived on Nov 7th. Someone do the math idk how long that is.

I gotta say it's a beauty:

It was much longer than I had expected, but it still was comfterable to hold. It looks almost exactly as it does on the website, HOWEVER there is one thing you should at least know:
The upper section of the Exhalted's thin neck is now copper. It is no longer anodized black. This is the standard for all Exhalteds now as it was confirmed by Knytiri himself.

The 12w is still very bright. There is some base flare, but it still is really really bright -almost blinding even. Deep blue was surprisingly much lighter than it appears on camera, it is a very bluish-blue. The led inside does tend to heat up inside the hilt but I'm perfectly fine with that.

Everyone I know is impressed with this thing. It is instantly recognizable as a lightsaber.

So a huge shoutout to the Saberforge team! I had many questions along the wait and they were very helpful and guiding through out my journey. So thanks Phil, Josh, Kevin, and everyone else who is part of the Saberforge Team. I'd also like to thank the forum here. You guys are very informal, helpful, and supportive. You guys rock!

And the 12w Deep Blue basically destroyed my iPhone camera. I have to be honest here; it pretty much looks like the real deal.

Deep blue is such a great color for this saber. It worked wonderfully.

And yeah I was surprised that the standard is copper. Not going to lie, I was a little bit disappointed. However, it's grown a lot on me and I can't imagine mine without it.

Well done, and the copper has grown on me! I originally liked the black bit but man you can't fake a solid chunk of copper

Love it! Pretty sure this is the one I'm getting too. How'd you decide on Deep blue? I'm stuck between that an medium.

Can you speak to the balance of the Exhalted?
Especially if you were to use a mid-grade blade, rather than the V4? I'm thinking about buying one for combat, and balance has become a big factor.
Aesthetically speaking, this is my favorite saber on the market.

Medium Blue looks great from what I've seen and it looks like the blue shown in ESB, TPM, AOTC. If you like what the blue looks like in those films, go for Medium Blue.

I think a light blade, (a short one too) would definetly help. It'll feel faster for sure.
