Hello, fellow forge fans!
Just some thoughts on the new Grandmaster--

Of all the sabers I have bought thus far, this is the most detailed and elaborate of all.

Detail

The Grandmaster

A different blade plug similar to apprentice style w/ detail

I can't speak for a staff configuration, I think it would still feel cramped because of the outer edges.
A pike/spear saber would work well. This thing looks like a scepter.

Minor points to consider...
-Tried some basic spins, edges are a little sharp
-The blade plug was a little hard to take out, shot out straight onto my foot!
-Dents on fins, might scratch easily. I would probably go anodized on this one or get some etching done on it.

Overall, I'm glad to add this saber to collection.

If you ever get the urge to have the Satele Shan etching done for it, there is a guy by the name of Victor Antonious (who started the Darklyte LED Saber Stands business) who was showing off some MAD etching skills on the Custom Saber Owners Facebook page.
