Just finished reading this book by Joe Schreiber, and was wondering what others thought of it. I don't want to spoil this for anyone so I will just say my overall impressions. It started out in a very exciting way and kept me hooked most of the way through. Really great action and a little mystery to it. Didn't learn many new things about Maul and the ending was too abrupt and unsatisfying in my opinion. I'd give this book an 8 out of 10 because it keeps you hooked to read it but then disappoints with an ending that seems forced.

I agree that the ending came really quick and abrupt. But I still loved the book!! Pretty much non stop action throughout!! Would love to see some of the fight scenes in a movie or game!

Don't get me wrong, it is one of the best books I've read in awhile. And oh yeah those fight scenes would look epic and be even more of a blast to reproduce in a game! I'm getting ready to start on Darth Plagues now if I can ever stop browsing at sabers.

I enjoyed Plagueis. A cool look at his life and what all he did for the sith. I'm working on reading through all the legends books chronologically. Are you doing the same?

I hadn't thought that far ahead actually. But now that you mention it, that is intriguing. What is the correct order?

This is the list that I've been using. Its hard because there is some overlap in the time frames. But at least it gives me something to go by. It separates between legends and Canon books as well and is updated pretty regularly.
