Here's a Jawa blaster I made for my wife's Jawa costume out of an automotive funnel, various PVC pieces, some broken channel locks, an old SKS stock, and a pressure activated tactical flashlight with a cut out piece of blue lighting gel over it.
Intended to be as close to accurate as possible for cheap... Total cost was less than $10.

That's killer!

This is really, really creative, and also kind of cute. Do you have a picture of the whole costume together with the gun?

Thanks! I'm usually hyper critical of my own work but this is one that I'm very happy with. Glad you liked it.

Sure, I have a pic of the whole outfit somewhere... May take me a moment to find it.
We made her mask from an Iron Man mask from the Target toy dept, glued black burlap all over it, see-through black fabric over the eyes on the inside of the mask, and modified some weird round light things from Michaels floral dept.
They're these LED orb things with a flat back that twist to turn on and off. I drilled a hole from the inside and added a small bolt, attached it to the outside of the mask and put a small on the inside.
She made the robe, pattern and all. Baffling to me - I don't sew.

First pic is her with some members of the 501st Carolina Garrison and the second is her and I. She made the Jedi outfit, saber is an Ultrasaber Initiate v3. Next one is a SF in Cyan, I think.

Here's our small display on one of our shelves for when she's not using it. Sometimes we turn the eyes on for the hell of it.
