TOPIC: VERY Important Announcement

Hi Knytri,

If you can still read this post, I just would like to say thank you for everything you have done for us the forum members and SF customers. I do not know you in person, but judging from the way you handled our inquiries here, you must be a very patient and considerate person. We will definitely miss you in this forum.

No matter what your reason might be, I sincerely hope that "the wind of change" will land you at a better place. You deserve it that much.

Let's hope SF will be still the saber-crafting company that we all know and love even without your presence any longer.

May the Force be with you...

I never had the chance to get to know you, but from what I've read and heard about you, you're sure to be missed. I've changed my pic from my happy costume time to a grieving mourning pic (yes, I am a nerd). All the best in the future for you.

I've only been around for six months or so, but in that time, I've come to consider Knytiri, to quote something from the OT, "a cunning warrior, and a good friend". He was always helpful, above and beyond his job, and a joy to talk to, even outside of "business".

Very sad, and surprised, to hear he's gone.

Brax, please pass along to Knytiri that Thylacinewings and I wish him all the best, and hope to hear from him again sometime.

Very sad to see Josh leave, he was definitely a pillar of the saberforge community. I'm sure he'll go on to bigger and greater things in life.

Sad news for sure. He will be missed, and had a lot of helpful information. But people part ways and occasionally reconnect. We don't know all the details but expect everyone to pull together and keep the forum great.

My saber arrived very soon after Knytiri left. As you can imagine, I had some mixed feelings that day. Recently I stumbled upon a poem that describes a situation with a somewhat similar feeling to this. I'll put it here.

O Captain! My Captain!

O Captain! my Captain! our fearful trip is done,
The ship has weather’d every rack, the prize we sought is won,
The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting,
While follow eyes the steady keel, the vessel grim and daring;
But O heart! heart! heart!
O the bleeding drops of red,
Where on the deck my Captain lies,
Fallen cold and dead.

O Captain! my Captain! rise up and hear the bells;

Of course, there are some differences in the situation, but the feeling I have about that time is kind of like the feeling this poem evokes. I don't know what else to write here.
