Hey Guys I just ordered a Covertech knob and a coupler was wondering if I would be waiting 4-5 weeks for them or if they might ship sooner

I finally received the email! I ordered an exhalted (my first saber other than the master replicas) back in February during the special. Around the time I expected it to ship I noticed the saber became special order and was sold out. Long story short, saberforge gave me a fair amount of store credit for the inconvenience and the saber is on its way, very excited to fire it up!

Couldn't resist the sale or a chance at $1500 in custom saber work. Pulled the trigger on a Prodigy champion in amber. Here we go again! :P

The wait indeed begins! After a lot of time spent on switching parts here and there, I finally ordered my ASP saber.

Specification:
http://www.saberparts.com/#/configure?code=4.117.1.0-3.99.1.0-2.54.1.0-1.22.1.0-7.152.14.0-5.144.0.0

ASP . Pommel 7 . Standard
ASP . Mauler Body . Standard
ASP . Switch 10 . Standard
ASP . Jade Emitter . Standard
ASP . Led 12W+ . Lime Green
ASP . Blade 37''

This is exactly my type of saber. The initial design had Venom body instead of Mauler but this one looks amazeballs to me too. I probably won't name it, not a big fan of that. It will be a tribute to my spending 12 years in Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy where I met a whole lot of amazing people that I'm in contact with to this very day.

Will post a solid review once it arrives.

PS: kisses to my wife for understanding and allowing my crazy.

Yep, the may 4th sale sucked me in also. Two Renegades and a coupler for a staff build should be arriving today and I'm crossing my fingers on the 1500 drawing for the saber of my dreams.

Hello! It's been so long since I've properly posted here that I forget standard procedure. Just about exacly a week ago, I bought a new Initiate saber hilt (a standard finish, dark brown leather Sentinel) and kill key. (I've lost my beloved Saberlok, so I also got a Covertech clip with it)

This is going to be a bit difficult, due to the narrow ID of the Sentinel, but I'm going to attempt a NBv4 install. I just don't know when to stop!

I've already gathered all of my internal components save the chassis from the Custom Saber Shop. Those components are a Nano Biscotte Version 4, a Li-ion 18650 prewired battery, all the parts for a GGW Tri-Cree LED, and the tiny speaker.
I also have an unlit 12mm AV switch and a 12mm recharge port from earlier.

I'm waiting for the saber to arrive so that I can do all the internal measurements I need to figure out if the chassis is going to work, so that's where the wait is.

Except here's the thing. The lead time was supposed to be 4-5 weeks, right? Well, somehow they made a really quick turnaround and the package is already in transit. So that's kinda crazy. Anyway, I'm really excited! Hopefully I don't screw this up.

Sorry for the lack of images, btw. I also forgot whatever workaround I used for the size limit.

I just use MS Paint to reduce the pixel could by 40-50% (depending on what camera took the picture, and how many pixels there were to start with), and when I save that out as a .jpg, it almost always comes in under the 800k limit.
Imagine what you will know tomorrow....

I choose open with: windows office picture manager, go to the picture tab at the top tool bar and choose the compress option. Then you just check the web page option on the right and boom, save as and your good to go.

got my empty hilts in today, thankfully the postman decided to actually see if I was home before he left one of those frustrating signature cards in my box (I hate that, can't you see I'm in pain? deliver my package man! for the love of god!).

Had the in laws over today so it would've been rude to get lost in saber land, but tomorrow I'm breaking out the dremel for some shattering and maybe even a first attempt at etching. Then the install.

Or you can just IMG link from a 3rd party hosting site and not worry about the potato quality size limit..

Ordered a ASP Saber Hero Tier bout two weeks ago, and it CAME IN FAST. Thing is beautiful and in great condition. Have already got the hang of the Spark 2 and have customized the boot up and FOnt 1 selection sounds.

Will post and show pictures once I fiddle around with it some more. Have had great luck so far with Saberforge shipping times. My first saber, a Champion Black Disciple shipped in 8 weeks during what was supposed to be a 12 week lead time. Only took about a week to get it repaired and back about a year and a half after I got it.

Or perhaps the Forge is simply strong with me B)

I ordered a Warrior tier Prodigy yesterday and I am stoked. It's going to be my first SF saber, so I'm looking forward to getting that shipping notification. Of course, I understand these things take time and I don't want a rush job, so the patient wait is officially on. :)

Still waiting on my hero tier Prodigy I ordered on May 4th.

Some of you guys got yours already even though you ordered 2 weeks after I ordered mine.

What the heck?? I already paid a month ago and still no saber. :(

Lead Time is about 4-5 weeks, and even then that is an estimate at best.

But don't worry, you're getting very close. Patience my friend, it can always be worse.

It could be May 5th right now instead of June 3rd.

As of right now, with ASP finally being restocked, I'm officially waiting for my own ASP design, an Archon and a Fallen + my wife got bitten by the saber-bug as well and she ordered an ASP hilt that will hopefully eventually turn into something weird and sparkly :P
Still, not expecting them to come in before maybe earliest September/October ;)

I'll give it another week I suppose.

True.

Thanks for the peptalk.

Yup. Defs could be worse! Waiting since March 8th here (from that sale they had). That's what I get for getting powder coats I'm guessing. Just gotta pass the time with good distractions is all!

I ordered my saber March 6. Still no shipping notice. I ordered a Bastion with a polish + coat. But I'm sure it will be great when it arrives.
