Is it possible to remove the covertech nob of without leaving a hole into the hilt?

I got an amber one on the way :)

The covertec knob is held in by a socket head screw, which can be removed using the included allen key. In order to not have a hole you'd have to put the screw back in or use another 8-32 threaded screw.

If you'd still like to hang your saber from your belt but don't like the covertec system, TCSS sells D-rings that can be attached using the same socket head screw.

BTW, amber is a good choice for the Archon.

Further to Jaden Korr's reply..
Remove Covertech? Yes. You'll need a 9/64 Allen Key. Without leaving a hole? No. A replacement 8/32 threaded screw e.g. button head, will need to replace the hole to prevent snag-point that would be present if the original socket head were used. The included Allen Key is a 5/64 usually limited to the 8/32 blade retention set screw and will not fit for Covertech. Archon has an included D-Ring integrated with Pommel (unless a version change has occurred).
