Hello saber fans.

Quick question concerning the new (and awesome) deep red LED.

How well would the light diffuse across the blade of a thin neck saber?

I have a redeemer in blue. Id like to send it back and get a deep red LED installed so as to create an "evil obi one" saber. However I have heard reports that the Deep RED isn't as bright as traditional red. And seeing as how my saber is a thin neck I am worried that the Deep Red would be even dimmer due to the light traveling through the thin neck.

Should I get a deep red led installed or should I go with the traditionally (although slightly orange) red?

I really really want the Deep Red but if the blade won't be very bright IDK if its worth it.

Any help appreciated.

I've got Deep Reds running through two Thin Necks:
Shadow Hunter & Forsaken. Whilst they aren't SFs Original Trilogy of Thin Necks, they still funnel through a mylar assisted tunnel. I personally don't believe brightness is compromised much at all and this is compared to non-Thin necks I have using a Deep Red Quick Connect LED.
