Does a saber come including a kill key? (I Think i'm gonna get the Disciple)

As DK44 said, all sabers with sound (Champion and Hero tier) come with a recharge port and kill key.

The Vanquish and the Bane, however, also come with it in the Warrior tier, due to how the internals need to be fitted into those hilts. No other Warrior tier sabers come with it standard yet.

Presumably press the button or pull out the batteries.

If you have a warrior tier saber, you don't need a kill key to turn it off. The latching switch completely disconnects the power from the battery when delatched, so there is no idle battery drain besides the one from the battery's protection circuit.

In a blade with sound the momentary switch(es) only provide(s) input to the board's logic rather than electrically connecting the battery, so the kill key is used to physically disconnect the battery from the soundboard. This prevents the soundboard from drawing current as it polls for switch inputs in low power mode.

The Warrior tier uses Latching Switches, so you just press the switch to turn it on and off. So you don't need a kill key; its only with the Bane/Vanquish due to how the battery packs are crammed into the curved hilts.

The kill key is only needed on the sabers with sound because they need to use a Momentary Switch in order for the soundboard to function. The kill key is what turns those sabers "off" after you put them into a "standby" mode by holding the switch for 3s or so.

See this thread/post for a detailed response.

But basically, if your order total after discount qualifies for a free item, simply put in your Order Notes/ Special Instructions for Seller box "FREE Blade Plug", etc.

Typically the blade plugs on promo are random. You can put the request in the comments to try, I wouldn't hurt, but I've personally never gotten the plug type or length that was in my requests.

All plugs are 1" wide, but if you mean the length for the Disciple emitter... I would guess 1.5". It only really needs to reach the blade retention set screw unless you have emitter windows.
