Hey guys,

I was looking at eventually getting a Monarch to add to my collection and I had a couple questions that somebody might be able to answer for me.

Is the emitter shroud always silver regardless of the color on the order?

Does the crystal illuminate? I can't tell from the photos and the description doesn't say.

Does the Monarch include a blade plug?

General opinions of the saber?
What's the internal temperature of the average Taun Taun?

Lukewarm...

the crystal chamber is designed to be illuminated yes, so if your getting completed with light from SF I assume the chamber is also lit. I ordered mine Empty and did it myself though.

Hi all,

There are two reviews of the Monarch which can be found with these links

Execute66's Monarch in Pink with Crimson sound
For Execute66's Monarch click here

The video shows the crystal chamber all lit up at 7mins 3secs.

And here is Greysider's Monarch in Deep Red review:
Greysider's Deep Red Monarch click here

Hopefully these two reviews should help.

EDIT: My friend HotRod also has a Monarch review but that is a Hero Tier RGBA!

My review will be going up at some point, but yes the crystal is illuminated, the saber itself is a beautiful display piece, and although you wouldnt wield it due to it not being warrantied for dueling and having an exposed crystal chamber, it is not a comfortable hilt to hold either. Even if it were able to be use, it would be a horrible hilt for using, no good grip points, etc. The monarch includes a blade plug as do all hilts to my knowledge.

As for the shroud, I know that if you order it weathered, the shroud is still silver, so I assume the colour options only change the bits of the hilt that change with weathering, although its possible some of the new custom options will recolour the shroud.

Ordering Finish as Standard or Weathered, shroud = Silver.
Ordering Black or Custom Powdercoat = colour selected.

Beautifully. ;)

Yes.

Starkiller TFU1 Saber! Great aesthetic and to go against majority grain I personally feel it handles well and is comfortable to hold, both forward wield and reverse. Granted the spines are sharp and this trait isn't uncommon with all hilts that come out from factory, but you soften the edges with some sanding or hold wearing gloves and you're right.
