Just got charged 65 Dollar for international shipping for a single empty hilt which is less than half a KG.
Yikes! That is alot more then it used to be last year, and i have bought over 15 Saberforge sabers so far

I am sure there are those much more in the know than myself on this, but I don't think Saberforge arbitrarily sets international shipping rates.
However, if you have questions, please contact Customer Service. |

Like Brax, I don't think that saberforge itself increased the shipping. It may be due to the transport agency (UPS in my case)
If the shipping costs where more acceptable, we international customers will be ordering more often, so it would be better for the shop. |

The shipping costs seem to have been doubled. Not really sure why, exactly. I know they now require Signature Confirmation and the insurance is bumped up to $100 (instead of the USPS Priority Mail default $50). But that should only add a couple extra $$$, not double the rate. I'll be emailing CS before placing another order, that's for sure.

I hope that the shipping rates don't skyrocket for us international buyers.
 However alongwargame, they charged the same amount to send me my entire saber, my two blades and assorted extras. I don't know how much they weighed, however, it was a lot more than half a kilo  Feemor |

International Shipping has always been a minimum of $65USD to Australia, regardless of empty or loaded hilts, with or without blades. If you've been paying less, sounds more like you have been luckily getting away with an undercharge for your 15 prior orders.. Yikes! I must have been lucky with the past 15 saber orders then.
Regardless, someone only order a single empty hilt is basically paying the max shipping costs that is normally for customers that order a fully loaded hilt with a blade and perhaps some other stuff. Eitherway, it is what it is. In terms of shipping costs for empty/ single hilts with blade Saberforge takes the lead in terms of highest costs now. No biggie though, we all have choices, I just going to take mine
