By day saber do you mean day blade? If so, thats a coloured blade (contrary to the normal white blade) to put in a saber in order to see it better during the day, as the light can make the LEDs less or not at all visible.

Which saber(s) are you thinking of ordering? I'm not sure what you meant by "day saber". Saberforge sells Day Blades. These are the colored blades in blue, green, red, purple, yellow and orange. These Day Blades enhance the look of the saber when turned on during the day under sunlight, or rather, when there is light.

Just to clarify, the standard blade is translucent white with diffusion film, which makes the color brighter and more uniform. The downside is that the saber will appear washed out under direct lighting. For a day blade as provided in the Con sale, the blade will be the same color as your LED. This enhances its appearance under lighting, as you would have in a convention. The blade will also act as a filter, permitting light the same color as the blade to pass and blocking other colors. This in effect will "purify" the overall color of your blade. Since the standard blade is white, it will not filter out any wavelengths of light. This makes the standard ideal if you are planning on changing the color of your blade.
