Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forum and to SaberForge in general. So please forgive me if I'm wrong area. I just received my first lightsaber from SaberForge and I got the Gladius with the intention of swapping out parts to customize at my leisure. However, I'm having a bitch of time unscrewing the parts from each other.

So that got me wondering, are the elite sabers glued together or am I not trying hard enough? I don't want to break my new saber but I was also hoping to customize the emitter or body to spice things up a bit.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

If you didn't specify to leave them unglued, then yes. They are glued together. Heat, time, and strength can break them loose.

Use the Force, young apprentice....or a hair dryer, works just as well!

I never thought of using a hair dryer. Wouldn't heating it get glue everywhere though? Also will the heat bother the electronics at all? My saber is a warrior tier.

I'd heat it carefully, just to the point where I could unscrew the parts. I don't think there's enough glue in there to damage the interiors or anything like that.
