TOPIC: Your top 10 "must have" sabers

Just for Fun. I have a list of sabers that occupy my "must have". I classify the hilts this way:

-- Con Worthy - This is a functional saber capable of light dueling that is highly accurate on the outside (If Cannon type saber).
-- Display piece - Functional display piece that is extremely accurate (If cannon style), not meant for much contact - can include things like crystal reveals.
-- Beater - Fully duel worthy hilt - accurate enough (if cannon type hilt) but mainly build for durability
-- Static display - A non functional (no Blade) hilt that is near 100% accurate - may include lights, and some sounds, but meant only for static display

1. Halberd style saber - Con Worthy / Display Piece - SF Templar with axe blades, pike extensions, and a Consular "pommel" - TBD
2. "Pit Viper" staff concept - Con Worthy - ASP based on the Viper emitter, with other snake elements - TBD
3. Satele Shan Staff - Display piece - most accurate I can find, preferably* - TBD
4. GCS Badaxx - Beater - on wait list for customized version - "late 2018"
5. GCS Vector - Beater - probably will order sometime next year, if not towards the end of this year
6. HHCLS - OTS "Revanite" themed (black, red, brass) - Con Worthy - will be ordering through Indiegogo next week
   A custom saber by HHCLS
7. Threshold RTI (IlluminatedSaber) - Con Worthy - commissioned the install last week
8. Gladius Collection (Gladius, Xiphos x2) - Beater - have 2/3 done so far, second Xiphos empty will be going out to Jas-Ot for install sometime in the next few months... I just loved this hilt design in SWTOR, so had to have 3 different versions lol
9. OxWorks Ven Zallow - Con Worthy - he's doing a run in a few months... hope to get in on it
10. ANH Collection (Luke, Obi, Vader) - Static Display - thinking Roman Props for these - TBD

Okay so some of those were technically multiple sabers, but they go together so I say they count as one.

*While the GrandMaster is nice, the 12mm AV switch holes bother me for accuracy.

I would have to say at this point I'm down to just 1 saber I want, That would be a Count Dooku, That being my no.1

I prefer my sabers all be solid and duel worthy, but I do have a couple shelf queens, my graflex and K4 are.

Hm, must haves. Always a fun topic. I've been able to cross a couple off my list (Graflex in original configuration and Qui-Gon sabers) but I'm always after more. Most of my sabers are of the more "generic" variety, but I'd love to have these more "official" hilts:

1. Vader MPP - I prefer the original configuration from A New Hope.
2. KOTOR saber - I may get a Fallen at some point to make this happen.
3. SWTOR saber - I plan to get a Gladius for this one.
4. Obi-Wan prequel hilt - high on my list, I have a few on my radar.
5. Obi-Wan OT hilt - also high on my list, I like the Redeemer, though I may go with a kit build.
6. Luke Skywalker ROTJ - probably the Prodigal Son.
7. Ki-Adi-Mundi saber - I found one earlier and it made my day.
8. Kitt Fisto saber - don't have a line on one yet.
9. Mac Windu saber - I bought one I was unhappy with, I'd like to get a better one.
10. More unique/"generic" designs - a little vague, but I actually like the less specific hilts, that look more generic. I also like modding hilts to make them more personal.

Anyway, that's what I have.

Well I have the saber that "Called to me" from SF's catalogue. As far as other hilts go these are all dreams as my bank balance won't allow any more purchases, but here goes anyway...

40 OWK ANH (I saw this beauty 2 days ago, isn't available...yet)

with my own custom LED/Optics/blade (Haven't done any electrical installs since I built lighting rigs for the theatre...shouldn't be too much difference though, just size and numbers!)

I think Thomas originally wanted to call that bottom 3-d render The Talon (which would have been quite fitting), but they used that on one of the newer model Apprentice sabers. We are still not sure if either the Sovereign, or The Talon designs will see the light of day anytime soon, but the Bane 2 is supposed to be getting closer.

I've owned the majority of my Top 10 at one point and sold every one of them. I now have 2 sabers in process which are part of my top 10 list, and a 3rd which was pre-ordered back in January I still wait on. I also have an empty Phoenix which I'm modifying just for fun.

1. Ahsoka Rebels
2. Graflex (replica from TGS on pre-order since January and will be doing an ANH config on it. Used to own the 2.0 in ESB/TFA config)
3. MPP (just sent off my 2.0 for install the other week. Getting the ESB config but prefer the ANH)
4. Luke v2 (my Solo's Hold v2 is currently in process)
5. Maul Staff (once owned the SF Mauler fully installed with accent LEDs and an empty weathered DM1)
6. Dooku
7. Yoda (had a converted MR)
8. Windu
9. Kenobi ROTS (once owned a 2nd gen Redeemer that I modified to look like the ANH version. Also owned an empty Romans Inception)

How durable is aK4 for dueling?

Sabers are going to be put on the back burner for me for awhile as I save up to pursue another of my hobbies; gun smithing. I'm working on a ground up build for a pair of custom 1911's and if you know guns you know that's not a cheap project.
