What DID go away is the actual GAP along the seam that was very visible because of how the design held it together. On the old design, some people had bane's they could slide a penny into. That won't be an issue for the new one.

KelbornX Offline Platinum Member Peace is a lie... Posts: 1027 Thank you received: 540	Yeah, the old design was just screwed together at a few points. The new design is like the Vanquish. The two halves fit together, then a collar is fitted and screwed down over each end. Then the emitter and pommel are threaded into the collar. That holds it much more securely.

I'd be interested in that, so long as the grip section (top and bottom) were left black. Like so...

I'd go for spike, shroud and pommel in chrome. This just doesn't seem like a saber that was meant to be shiny.

Brax Offline Administrator Posts: 3629 Thank you received: 1767	I guess I see it kind of like the Dooku saber. It is most assuredly a Sith saber, but it is predominantly chrome, with a little black texture at the grip section. That is kind of what I am going for.
