So I have a Champion Crystal Ares that is fantastic for 2 handed dueling with sabercore 3.0. Unfortunately I have the same issue that is outlined by user willfoxylove here. I am currently awaiting a reply from the customer service on the issue.

In the meantime, according to this facebook post it seems this might be hilt specific, and have to do with board/grip placement. The above issue is already outlined in a previous post, and I will follow up there, but my interest in sabers hasn't waned. What I would like in this post is for people who use their sabercore 3.0 hilts for full contact dueling and for spinning (anything that puts the accelerometers through their paces) to post any positive feedback, what worked and what didn't, and most importantly, which hilt you are using and for what you are using it.

This is a new board, lets discover its nuances B)

Spinning and form (non contact thus far): Chosen Shoto; Bastion Shoto

I tried what he posted in the clip (although the only really quick motions I note he does in the Facebook clip is when he holds the hilt supposedly where the soundboard is and everything else is slower...still...) and held them in different areas, even along the blade to have the center of gravity/balance far and away from the board and still get the same overlapping effect. CS was very nice and suggested I send one in. I just haven't had a chance yet to do so.

I too am interested in how many of us have and use Sabecore 3.0 in different hilts. Though I do suspect that the overlapping is tied into the X-axis on the motion chip and hope that in the near future we get an updated GUI that lets us choose what axis to modulate, for now that's the only thing holding Sabercore 3.0 back. I apologize for my stuttering due to being nervous in the facebook video.

Thanks for the feedback, man! I do however feel that this video sort of further reiterates my point, but we all are gonna interpret what we're hearing differently. Thanks for the vid man :)

Did some testing by changing the Spin sounds to a Lower pitch sounding swing and also switching the Motion sensitivity to Zero, and found out the X-axis uses the swing sounds that show up during a spin thus giving us a Ghosting sound. though it does bug me that more people aren't putting Sabercore 3.0 through it paces and let it just be a show pony.

It's an amazing sound card for combat...

Thanks for the input! Did you edit the sound files or use different ones entirely? Also, what kind of combat do you practice with your sabercore3.0? I know I use minor orbits and directional changes quite a bit in combat (far from an expert tho) and therefor the ghosting/sound overlap becomes very noticeable.

When I first began editing for custom boot up sounds I did notice that it came with 20 swing sounds, it really only needs 10. eg. when you go for a swing motion it sounds like a stab.

As for the combat... its more defensive blocks when fighting with my son (he attacks like he wants to take my head off).
