Dauntless 7 Offline Premium Member Posts: 81 Thank you received: 15	Hi. I often use my Venom without claws. Would not do anything with the claw slots that might effect the fit of the blades. Also there are small round windows from the screw placement that add to the emitter look when blade is lit. Have not found the slots to be sharp and they blend in nicely with the lozenge or capsule styled windows.

janus Offline Elite Member Posts: 180 Thank you received: 28	Here is the Venom without claw. It is very smooth and no need to modify. Venom claws are weak and I reccomend to remove them when duelling. This picture is Juggernaut without sideblades. I love it too!

janus Offline Elite Member Posts: 180 Thank you received: 28	Thx! I think so too! And here is how to attach claws. Long screw goes through the claw to the hilt body. Screw hole was deep enough, but claw itself is not so bully.

Thanks janus for the venum photos. Just saw this request and have not yet posted a photo to forum. Are you saying that the new sculpted claws are significantly weaker than the old solid ones ? Was thinking of getting some black ones for a swap out and mainly for display. I have the non-weathered version with silver claws and a purple blade. Have placed 0 rings in the grenade grooves for more comfort. Blend in well and not really noticeable.

Your pommel area is much different than mine. Wondering why you have windows there. Is it set up with a coupler for a staff ?

Some of My friends experienced that claws are broken during sparring even though they never hit claws themselves. New claws are better in appearance, but weaker I think.

So that they point from the emitter towards the switch instead of from the emitter to the blade?

Unfortunately it's impossible. Some convex points contacted tip of claws
