Favorite movie character: by far Luke. Yes he was a whiner in ANH, but if you read his history after ROTJ he goes through a lot of crap. All of his loves either die or leave him, one of his nephews dies because he's so powerful with the force, his other nephew turns to the dark side and kill his sister (Jania) and Cade stops following the Jedi order and becomes a mercinary. And to top it all off, as Grand Master, Luke got exiled from the Mew Republic. Not to mention his problems with his father.
Favorite EU character: not really sure. I've read a few of the books but not many. Impressed by Grand Admiral Thrwan, and Mara Jade, but haven't found anyone that caught my eye to much, yet

Actually jaina killed jacen, which is why she's called the sword of the jedi still... and anakin didn't die because he was too powerful he was killed by the Vong and bought time for Jaina and Tahiri and others to escape with his life by drawing so deeply on the force that it began to consume him.
And Mara jade didn't technically leave luke, jacen killed her. The asshole. |

Luke's love, Callista, is another kind of.... interesting.... story. I never really did fully grasp that one. lol. Mara Jade was much better anyway. But Caedus is a dick. Who likes to ruin families. And kill my favorite people. Douche.
