Hey everyone. I was just wondering if i could cut down my version 2 infinity edge blade. I know this would void the warranty but I use my V3 blade anyway. Maybe i could make the part that i cut off into a blade plug?
Idk, im just worried it might crack the blade if i cut it with a pvc cutter.

I don't think it will crack, since it's a plastic material/acrylic. They don't usually crack.

I'm doubting you will crack it. They're pretty sturdy. People have been known to cut blades with pipe cutters, hack saws, dremel tools, band saws and about anything else. I use a hack saw, but before you cut it, I would stuff some paper towels or something into the blade right above where you cut it so you don't get any debris inside your blade. Just make sure you don't stuff it in so deep that you can't get it out.

And yes, you could use what you cut off to make a blade plug.

I use a pipe cutter meant for copper or metal conduct but it narrows the opening a bit making it a little harder to get the film back in. But you can use either a pvc pipe cutter or a pipe cutter like I use. I would steer away from using any type of saw just to avoid getting the saw dust down the blade.
